Carin is a clinical social worker and Logotherapist. Carin has worked in the field of grief and loss for over 25 years, with special interest in the bereaved child and family. Carin has also worked extensively in oncology and palliative care. Carin co-developed a board game ‘Magical Maze Journey’ board game for the bereaved child, ‘Magical AIDS journey’ , board game for HIV affected child, and Growing through Grief Workbooks. Carin runs a private practice in jhb South Africa working with individuals and families. Carin also consults to organisations, schools and corporates. Carin interest in the field has been due to her own experience of grief as a child having lost her father in the Helderberg air disaster.
